We need to create a scooter army and all armies have uniforms. Conformity isn't always bad when it's for a good purpose. I know these are some bold statements but someone has to say it sometime. In reality you should not give a shit about what other people think. I'm trying to make it so scooter naysayers have nothing negative to say about the sport. I'm trying to attract some business to this sport, not for money, but to increase popularity and make it so everyone can pick up a sponsor and get free shit like parts and gear. You could say that we should all just ride for fun and not care, which is cool, but I'm trying to get some shit going. We all have to look presentable, not only with the way we look, but with the way we ride as well. Style is the key here along with going big and tech and all that other good stuff.

Start networking. Instead of putting your videos on only the scooter resource forum, try and post them on some other websites. I guarantee you that you can get a sick ass video on a a big BMX or Skateboard website if you try hard and hustle. Why those websites? Most people aren't even aware that there are "good" scooter riders out there so they are living there daily lives thinking that we ain't shit. Make it known to the people that there is a scooter scene out there filled with gnarly scooter bros. I think the Transit scooter video was an amazing idea. I would like to see the video be put in local skate or BMX shops. Whoever runs the whole transit think should get on that. Also, make deals with other scooter teams. We could put up Ads for the Transit DVD on The Over Show's website if they would do the same for us. Ali Kermani, Razor's team manager, wants to have a commerical for T.O.S in RVM 4. T.O.S is way more than scootering but we talked to the right people and had something good to give them so we made a deal. You can't make those deals if you have cool tricks but nothing more than that.

Anyways, it's hot and I want ice cream but I have more to say. I like the responses, both positive and negative. Let's talk some shit to each other and get this all sorted out.

Thats a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe i'll go and talk to a couple local shops to see if their down with the idea or not. Addy your a wise man

tight pants are definetly the most comfortable thing to ride in, unless its crazy hot out.

alright to all the kids who are bitching about shorts shut the fuck up, he said jean shorts first of all, not all shorts. hes not telling to dress a certain way you stupid cunts, he's telling you to dress so you dont look like some loser who wear's wack ass clothes when their riding. i think everyone has seen some kid at one time skating and just thought that kid looks so out of place cause of his clothes. and i dont think he mentioned anything about tight pants or the way the baboons look so stop your bitching, this is why i hate coming to this website. oo and btw addy fucking owns most of the kids talking shit in this thread

i shall be doing that. : )

but i feel ya. i dont personally think scootering will ever get full respect for what its worth, but i want to try to do a litttttle bit for the sport here and there, in hopes that one day its will eventually grow and grow. But in my opinion, me RIDING is the biggest part of my contribution.

and some people need to calm down about addy's dress code ideas lol.

i agree that there has to be a style for scootering other then being a fag, im a Gnarly guy that wears tight cloths and im loving it. not just with what cloths they wear its there attitude, some peps gonna grow up a little and get out to partys and get shit faced.

Wow, uhh, the whole clothing thing sounds pretty stupid to me. I mean, a person who lives in a really really hot place isn't going to wear long think jeans out to ride. everything else is completely true though.
