K, first off. Addison is a wise bro fo sho. second off, pads are for pussies who fall alot (on purpose), and you can't wear those shits when riding street because you'll just look like a fucking queer. And lastly, don't ever wear shorts unless you wear pads which makes you gay, so just don't wear pads period.(unless your on your period). wear some kick ass clothes, and for all you "poor" people, hit up a thrift shop, you'll still find some kick ass threads there. As for my self, I wear pants, sometimes tight ones. NEVER EVER do I or will I wear girl pants!!! Anyone who fucking does that most definetly does not own a cock and balls. If you go with the tight pants then get hooked up with a nice pair of kRew pants, preferebly Grecos or Reynolds. I do push mongo on occasion, that's only for speed when needed. pushing regular is the way to go!

P.S. SKI Style is not a stance. It should not be considered a way to ride. It is fucking cheating. It is just right out GAY. ride goofy or regular, you god damned assholes! How the fuck are you going to pull off switch tricks when you have both of your feet pointing straight out. One more thing. Face jumps are nothing. crazy ass combos are nothing. Your riding is nothing without : Style and Consistancy. That's it!

Pee Pee 'Es : Clothes are everything, all of you who are butt hurt about what addy said about your clothing style needs to get a better clothing style. Your either a fucking hippy or a fucking loser. I'm being an ass because most of you sons of bitches look and act like a stereotypical scooter nerd. Get some sick ass threads. You can still "Be Your Self" and look like a player at the same time. Do it so you don't get shit from society.

kevin v rides ski, and hes not gay.

i agree with you guys to some extent. i think the more serious riders already do try and keep the steez good. its the new people who are still findin their roots and who are lookin out of place.

Wow, uhh, the whole clothing thing sounds pretty stupid to me. I mean, a person who lives in a really really hot place isn't going to wear long think jeans out to ride. everything else is completely true though.
fuck ridin with jeans here in summer like 40degrees (AUS temperature if anyone quotes this and idk how people in the US or w/e read it kk!) and i wear jeans heaps now cause it is winter :D
not to sound like a suck up but Addison and Eric are right i think coz some kids look like ferals a bit [kinda]
dress with a good known brand... so yer
i never ride with shorts above my knees mine are always covered coz it kinda looks gay to show off ur legs but hey chicks can do it.

i push mongo when i ride to the skatepark because i hurt my back foot.
but at the park, unless i really need some speed, i push regular

for all the "poor" people, go to wal-mart and get some dickies pants or some levi's.
as long as its not jean shorts or something else that either has a million pockets or goes above your knees,
i think its ok to wear. and as for the shirts, go to like a thrift store or just get like a million white tees, and you're set.

and girl pants are gayyy
the only girl pants that i would ever get are these hollister dark green cords, but i thin kthey sold out of those.
just get some levi's 551 skinny fit, those do the job. the only bad thing about them is 1. they're $30 and 2. i could only find them in black

and the guy above me is right. you can be yourself and still be a player as long as you don't annoy the f--- out of other people, you're mature, and you don't go around making farting noises or telling stupid jokes all the time. its not cool

damn i think your 20 times gayer if you wear hollister rather then just girl pants.

eric i agree with you. i wear pads sometimes to the park if i dont feel like fucking up my knees. but i wear pants a lot too. i own a pair of girl pants and its not a bitg deal as long as people cant tell they are.

hmm i think i'm gonna quit scootering now. i mean, i wear dorky clothes, i push mongo, and i only do crazy combos with no style. wow i just realized how much i suck. i mean, i totally need to get my priorities in line. number one should be, "Ride to impress people, not for fun" wow i'm so out of the loop jeez. sorry for totally dragging the oregon scooter scene down.

i honestly dont agree with this thread at all. The amount of respect i get has nothing to do with how i dress. I dress to be comfortable when i ride. I do wear skate shoes but i NEVER wear pants ever, i hate them. I will wear jeans shorts, gym shorts, etc. and a t-shirt, if not then no shirt. I think it is stupid to judge people by what kind of clothes they wear. I enjoy dressing like an idiot, and if i could ride naked i would. :)

Oh shit, we have a scene now?

i totally agree with addy about trying to get scootering to be a business. beacause that what will make scootering blow up and make it huge.

lord of heaven guys...either take addy's advice or not. no need to get yo pussy in a bungle. I only wear shorts when i ride (you have to in TX though), and i still see what addy is getting at. but on the other hand, no one actually cares.
