Scooter Flips

OK, so I don't want to sound like a noob or anything but I will anyways (so be gentle, no comment). I feel a little uninformed on the scooter flip. I know that it is like a bri flip (which I understand) except it is one handed, but I don't totally grasp the subject of scooter flips. Are they easier than bri flips? Are they safer than bri flips? I was at a skate park and told a guy that the one trick that I will surely not learn soon is the bri flip (not tryin to be a hater, I'm just saying). He talked about scooter flips a little. So I went on here and tried to find stuff on it and other than a video (complements of BK) I have not found much anything. So I would like you intelligent people here at SR to "open my eyes". Also which is easier the inward or regular scooter flip (I'm talking clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, not left or right). Thanks for ur info.

whether inward or normal scooter flips, which are easier is debateable. but a scooter flip is when the scooter rotates all the way around like a briflip but u take 1 hand of and dont twist the bars and let the bars turn in your hand and land. if you get that.

Oh right. Thanks zane you rock. I was kinda thinking about letting the scooter rotate in my hand all along, I just couldn't get over the fact that you don't in bri flips. I knew that someone could help me and for that I thank you. I think Ill try regular one first instead of the inward though cause I already understand the rotation and they're just easier for me. Thanks again.
