its gonna tailwhip for me when i do frontwards scooterflip :\ because i cant do it from skier style. if you do backwards then you can be "skier" stance and it shouldnt start tailwhiping.
Scooter flips (front and back)- spin them around on flat ground and just get the technique down than try to throw it off a ramp. Practice.
Read the sticky's. The part of that that applies to you is the whole part about "practice". Train yourself not to do it, theres no trick to getting things right besides practice.
I do it all the time and get too fustrated with the trick to work on it. I dont like to sit there and work on 1 trick for an hour, its not fun. Its more fun to just work on perfecting the tricks you got. but thats just me.
I asked the same question as you a while back, and I figured out that it's easier if you keep your hands relaxed the scooter won't do a whip at the end. Of course do the opposite for briflip tailwhips and 180/360 briflips, but that could just be me so just try and find the way that you find most comfortable with...
see im goofy footed and wen i do a bak scoot flip it feels more comfortable wen i hold it wit my rite hand but i am supposed 2 hold it wit my left bit i did figure out the problem
i ride goofy too and when i do bris/scooterflips i flip it on my right side and let go with my right hand. and yes practice. (and do what derek said too lol)
