Im going to show you how to make some scooter reinforcements.

Tools you will need:
your aluminum square bar
hacksaw
drill
sharpie
ruler
5/16 by 5in bolt with washer and nut

1 step:
get your aluminum

2 step:
cut it to the length of your scooter

3 step:
get one of the cut bars and line it up on the side of your scooter and measure were the bolts
are with your ruler then mark them with your sharpie (this is a rough draft with the scraps I had)

4 step:
drill the top holes big enough to fit the head of the screw through, then drill the second hole big enough to just fit the thread of the nut through that way the head of the screw holds the reinforcement on.(but don't actually put it on)

step 5: get the reinforcement you already drilled and taped it to the other piece of your reinforcement and drill the holes.

step 6:
take of all the bolts your reinforcements go's and put it together.

Hoped this helped and feel free to ask me any Q's about making your reinforcements
or if you want me to do more detailed steps on how to make them.
