since i joined this forum, im lookin at all these things u can do to customize ur scooter and wat not... But as i thot about it more, whats the point of all those things. the 2 i really wanna know how they benefit u are the handlebars (not grips) and forks. why buy new ones instead of stock? what makes them better to get custom ones and what not?

o.k. so they're stronger, heavier (better for some people), and one piece bars get rid of the ridiculous clamp on the stock bars that people are forever bashing their knees on. stck forks bend and break like a hot knife through butter. i dont even ride hard and have almost bent my forks. i know, cuz it looks like theres a tiny tiny curve in them, almost unnoticable.

I own SR.
If you don't know why stock parts suck then you don't need aftermarket parts. Wait until you start riding hard and breaking parts and then you will understand.
