im down to rock the scooter zone bars if i can get ahold of a pair from James
how much do they go for anyways?
i would rather ride those anyday over buffs especially because of how much lighter they are not to mention the shiny clamp lol
wayy cooler
what am i gonna do with you tanner..

Scooter zones bars are all wrong.

Wrong aluminum.

they arent even near the thickness they should have been.

and they need to be heat treated proper.

you do not mill bars period.

There is no reason why a pair of well designed bars shouldnt last you a few years, metal is not supossed to be that weak.

Another reason why you shoudnt buy a product unless you are 100% fucking positive they are what they should be.

true the Buff Bar idea was andrews, but go-pedders and the like have been using shit like that for ages.

Using a Go-ped stem was a great idea by andrew for the ease of having stronger bars with replaceable parts, but in my opinion its more of an
idea that andrew put to good use, and because of its ease alot of people will do it in the future.

And because of that Scooter zone didnt steal anything really, Andrew just found a way to adapt an already used idea to show us how make a great product.

No matter how bad some of their designs were, scooter zone is at least trying to do something, and every bit helps, hopefully they will learn from their mistakes.

Whats up Radtke you make some very good points, good constructive advice. I don't think you can heat treat aluminum though, from what I hear it only makes it weaker. Thats why I went with a much thicker aluminum than I started with and then have it professionally machined to fit the stems and forks. Since we have been making bars like this now (about 60-80 in circulation) not one has snapped, not one. Anyone who has snapped my bars must have the old ones, get intouch with me and I will gladly replace them. Just for the record we all know Andrew is the best at what he does, and Scooter Zone will always try to improve on any product we put out. So you are partially correct SCOOTER ZONE bars were all wrong, but not anymore. See you at the comp. p.s. what did you think of the deck reinforcement I did for your friend Nick B.??? be gentle, lol james
