I don't understand why everyone hates cops so much, they only react when your doing something your not. you may say, fuck the police right now, but when you really need the police, they will always be there for us, police officers have saved my life many times and i respect them. try having there job for a day, you gotta have balls to do what they do everyday.

ya but sercurity gaurds on the other hand are just plain dumb... cops have helped... but sercurity gaurds just ruin perfect spots.

i'm against everybody in this thread. cops are VERY stereotypical. well, in new jersey anyway. you ride on anything with wheels and they try to ticket you. i've been chased by cops for riding in a public parking lot. they're all douchebags, as soon as they see somebody riding on something with wheels they stereotype us for pothead vandalising teens that ruin everything we touch which obviously isn't true. my friend tommy's dad was a cop, and he hated me with a passion because i scooter and used to bike. he stereotyped me, because he's an asshole cop.

they closed edison skatepark one day to get off the spray paint and im like y i rode a half hour to get here he said fuck off you ruined it and said anyway i need a helmet to ride and i said i had one which i did and i said could i ride he said no i said y he said cause u fucked the park up i said i never been here and he said go fucking home before i arrest you and i said for what he said for being a dick head and i told my dad and they had words

Cops in my neighborhood dont really do shit. except for the the undercover cops, they are the biggest dicks you will ever meet. They always check people that are riding skateboards, bikes, and scooters for weed and beer. like wtf. I mean i know a lot of people that scoot, bmx, and skate that smoke but seriously you have no right to just randomly check and person. My friends were riding this grass gap and the cops gave them a summons? wtf. other than that i have no bad experiences with cops.

i was at maple shade skatepark and a cop tried to give me a $200 summons for no helmet, when i had it next to me and i was sitting down not riding.

i have never gotten into trouble with the police its just people who own the property im riding at they always say there going to call the cops but they never do

I don't hate cops, I hate rentacops though. And undercover cops... and state troopers...
and my shitty town's cops who only do traffic patrol. lolol

a cop at freedom park in medford told me and peters its a $1000 fine if were caught there again.

i respect cops, but they need to realize we arent doing much wrong. and it doesnt help when theres no skateparks around or no parks that let us in. they just need to think that if we had somewhere to ride with out causing a "problem" we wouldnt be getting in "trouble"

and its never usually cops i have problems with. its the random people passing by or store owners that call the cops for no reason. me and a bunch of people rode through a library parking lot, people ride the set there, but we werent even near the set, we were just passing through. outta no where this security guard lady started screaming that she already called the cops..... but we were in the parking lot for maybe 5 seconds when she yelled that. it made no sense

Cops up here search everyone, they are having a massive crackdown in Melbourne on teens with knives and shit.

i have haddproblems with the police being jerks one stopped us for riding in like a driveway to a bank and made me read my friends shirt then made us read the sign like i was some kindergarden dropout and couldnt read....

haha nice, and today, i took the trolley to downtown, didnt have money to get home, it was dark, i was cold, aand i got a 112$ fine for trolley hopping, then they search me, and find my knife, but all they did was take it :) i throw the ticket away, lets see what happends

hahahahah im sorry but if i were a cop thats what id do. youre lucky he didnt do anything damaging emotionally or even physically.

but for me, cops can be dicks, and theres also the cool ass cops. pretty much just try to keep a cool head as much as possible without sounding like a smart ass even if theyre still giving you a hard time. until its too much of course, but everyone has their limits so thats up to you.
