Well, for any of you that has an iPod, you'll know that a podcast is a kind of radio show. Well, I was thinking of creating a scootering podcast, what do you guys think? And do you got any suggestions on what I could say/ talk about?

that would be cool but i dont have an ipod i gots an iriver its smaller and holds the same amount of songs but i think aple would charge u if u diceded to do that it would be super cool tho

NOPE, Podcasting is completly Free, but What I think I could do is email pros questions & letting them record their answers, then playing it like an Interview.

okay that podcasts are free, but iPods themselves cost. Pwnt!

Although i have a iPod nano, i don't think that podcasts are necessary.

Quoted for emphasis. You get enough info from this forum. No point in the podcast, it probably wont be updated too often either if somone auctually does do it.

If you were going to do anything it should be a magazine, because like Bri said nothing new that everyone needs to be alerted about happens every week.

well i gotZ0rz a 2GB nano with iPodLinux that can run any videos converted with MoPid program.

Apple's operating system can't show videopodcasts on Nanos though, Linux can show videos.

Here's 3 reasons why a podcast would be useful

1. A magazine? That would be expensive & theres no way it would ever reach anywhere outside of America, a podcast, however would be picked up anywhere.

2. I am extremely strict in my updating, my website is updated twice weekly.

3. A podcast wouldn't compete with the resource, if anything it would work side by side with the Resource & people who don't know about the resource could pick it up, before I knew about the resource, I never knew the scootering news, this could be just what scootering needs.

Anyway, If I'm gonna make a scootering podcast, I was thinking of starting with the tailwhip, & also talking about the latest developments & tricks. What do you guys think?

Cool, there was once some shitty magizene called extreme scooter Magazine but it went bust VERY quickly I think, a magazine would be cool but who has the financial backing to do that? A podcast is cheap, just a mic & a host & some software needed. I gots a mic, & I gots the software, now then, all we need is a host, hmm were could we get one of those, I have an Idea! CHUCK NORRIS! Or me, yeah, I could do that.

The main question is WTF IS THE POINT OF IT? Who's gonna waste his time to listen to a shitty podcast hosted by a noob while its possible to log onto scooterresouce, talk to some ppl or just go out and ride?

Yeah um, how are people going to find out about this podcast? Scooter resrouce, if you goto scooter resrouce allready you know the news. In a few years a podcast will be helpful but right now somone could type you the news in scooter from the past month in about 2 paragrahps.

Spring break comes up for me the week after next, so this thing should be done hella fast.

And I'm a Pirate so I get like +5 speed buffs.
