Scooters at my local.

Sooo I recently wrote an e-mail to the manager of my local park and talked to him about scooters being allowed. He said he would talk to his boss, etc. But... I'm not sure how to deal with the whole "littl kids getting in the way" issue, which is why I think scooters weren't allowed there in the first place. Help?

Honestly, you need to talk to the littler kids/parents of them to have them understand (in a kind way) how they are the problem. Kids at our outdoor skatepark have gotten better a little bit because me and my friends explain to them why were not allowed into parks and why we have a bad name.

same problem at a lot of parks, there are a few ways to handle it.

1. age limit. make it around 8 or something. can be universal or only apply to scooters. most of the big parks have them, keeps out kids who ride in circles but kids who are really really good/committed but underage can usually get in anyway.

2. its up to the guy working at the park who is allowed in

3. set up different time sessions, have one time set aside for little kids

look at the rules of other parks for more ideas.
