scooters blowin up!

usually every year i take a break from scooterring for awhile either because its too cold in the winter or i get bored. after coming off my break again recently i noticed the sport has grown more than i would have ever thought it would 3 or 4 years ago and it only seems to keep growing. i went riding my bike yesterday with some friends to larry's (our local bike shop, which happens to be the best in the world ;)) and while we were chillin in the back a few kids riding scooters came in to get their decks re-gripped and get new grips. i talked to barry (larry's son who works at the shop) and he said that since last year theres been more groups of scooterers coming in for work than bikers. not only that but when i first came back on sr a month or so ago i seen that there is now over ten thousand members?? and more parts companies being made by riders. before there was only razor, micro, sr, and french id getting started. now i see others like inward, rad is back making good shit again, and many others. i really like where the sport is going and i only hope to see it grow more in the future.

yeahhhh i cant wait til people start making actual scooter shops to buy scoots wheels decks grips griptape reinforcements and bars also bolts if that eeven happens

so let it be.lol. yeah. but I have been talking to this clothing company, about sponsoring scooters. He really likes it and thinks it is a good idea. So once I get more information about that, I will prolly be posting news about it.

You said it man....i dont get on here that much..but when i do, i notice something new has happened or is going to happen to change skootering again...We still have so much more stuff to do tho men...we need different wheel companies, wax makers, we need our own bearing company....skootering has progressed ALOT in this past year than it ever has..but we still have ALOT of stuff to do!!!!!!!!!yall feel me???!!

ya happened to me around here... when me and my friends started scootering like at the local park it started a giant crazy now everytime i go to a local park there are like 3 new faces riding =D

I think the next couple generations of riders will get it the easiest.We still get some shit from skaters/bikers and it isn't normal if someone asks you if you skate, and you say that you scooter.

Yes. Good idea. But I'm pretty sure French ID has made bearings.
