So I'm watching the Dew Tour right now and noticed how sick the Bowl is.. It got me thinking... When the hell are scooters going to be in the Dew Tour or X-Games?!!

the last thing the sport needs is to be bought out and for a bunch of little kids to think its cool, i hate competitions like that and there fucking killing skateboarding and bmx already, we don' want scootering in that shitfest too

It doesn't matter what year you joined SR, it matters when you started scootering. I don't think I am a pioneer of scootering, nor do I think anyone who started after me is. I started about the time I started up an SR account.

Lol yea dude if you think your tuff shit for being a 2009er i have been on SR since 2007 if you look at my old account that is called devinthedew I lost it, so i had to make a second account called devinthedew2. And im been for 7 years so it really doesnt matter. Im not saying im a badass for this and nobody should. Its not about when you joined SR or how long you have been riding, its about how you act.

I hate these threads. Some makes this same thread every 2 months or so.
People say the want the sport to progress, but they dont want that much publicity.
People dont want little kids getting into the sport, but everyone has to start some where, and younger kids are already in the sport, and every other sport like this..
People get all butt hurt about how much everyone makes fun of us, but if scooters were in the x-games or any big comp, we would start to be accepted by more people.
You people alwasy come in here contradicting yourselves sooooo much. Make up your mind before posting in threads like this.
I like scootering as a smaller community but Im not gonna say i dont want it marketed to little kids. Look at skating and biking, the best riders are the ones who started young.. I think exposure in some kind of comp like this would be awesome! Just not a main event at something as big as x-games right away.

back on subject i feel like the xgames would give our sport coverage, but the xgames are dieing out. not the riders but the attraction. I am usally on vacation in L.A. when the are happening, and i have noticed less and less people each time.
