as for the purple ones, they were 85A & yeah stainless bearing cups is worse then no cups i guess, we have new models releasing next year in jan to feb, 8 in total metal core SOA models, in few diff colours ranging from 85A as the softest to 91A, AS FOR bond fide this is a Material used in skate board wheels, instead of PU basicly it depends on style u ride, example PU is for skate parks & better rebond for air out quaters PU wheels launch u up in AIR, compared bond fide is more stronger but less rebond/POP on skate boards, bond fide would be best for street, big gaps, drop offs , as for like YAK wheels yeah there PU is strong for roads & street, but i personaly dont want release model with PU like that slow & there very bad for rebond response for skate parks

below is new Model for 2009, SOA Mc-Phattz 100mm x 26mm 89A (Scooters-Only-Australia, MetalCore Fatt Model) will be in 2 models, Bearing Cups model & Non Bearing Cups model pictured before

last info the bearing cups, i say Nylon due more % of the material is Nylon, reason is to prevent it Melding at high speed, from testing sum scooter wheels hub core meld on big hills, alloy hub core yeah prevents that, but creates more friction on bearings, + damage to the hub core & bearings, our designed cups prevent the damge or wearing like other metal core models in PAST, nylon was used in the bearing cups to prevent damge to the cups inprove the strenght so on, its 60% nylon, 35% same as the SOA cyclone hub material, WONT SAY the material is trade secret, 5% colour & other materials to make them last & not crack or harden after time,

Those Phattz look better and are probably stronger than the regular ones. Should start selling them sooner.

For those who have theres as stated wear them in for 14 days, & no rough road use, use them at skate parks not riding to to let PU 100% set wear the PU bond to the alloy core

image below light Mc-Phattz, 190g, heavyer models are 224g, cause thinker walls, the final bearing cup model will be around 10g light due nylon cups weight nothing compared to few MM of alloy not there
