scratches on CD's

hey im just wondering how you get scratches off ur cd's do u have to buy something or is there some oil or whatever kinda thing to get it off?

any1 with tips please comment now thanks

get a disk cleaner or i think you can take it into your local video store to get it resurfaced..

go to kmart, and then ask a worker to get you a cd cleaner.

If you want to give this a try, its worked for me before. If its somthing reallllly important try a cd cleaner first.

Get straight up plain toothpaste, put it on the scratches. Rub it in with a soft cloth or t shirt and wash it off and see if it works.

this is a more risky way, but there is a certain way u can boil a cd to get the scratches off lol and yes, it does work

holy shit, how do you boil it?like do you put it in a kettle??lol dont pay me out lol i need to know

get a paper clip (preferably a long one), bend it like an L so you can put the little part through the hole of the cd, and be able to hold up the cd by holding the other end of the paper clip. boil some water, hold the cd (using clip) just barely under the surface of the water
do it for like 3-5 min(remember tho u have to boil the water first, u cant just put it in like random water lol)
then wipe it off with a lint-free cloth, or just let it airdry

you spray it on and you take wash cloth to it idk how it works but it does



way back when i rember people used to flush there cds in the toliet and that worked to but i never tryed it

Haha i wouldnt flush my cd down a toilet or boil it. Even toothpaste sounds a little crazy. You can go get one of them CD docter things, which basicly just shaves a layer off of your CD and i think thats crazy. But try the toothpaste method.

i always use that same method and it always seems to work 4 me .. i dont understand how or why but it does..
