but another quick question.. if i am using a phoenix fork with an integreated phoenix deck, do i need to use a crown race on the bottom of the fork?

you always need to use the race that comes with the headset

there was no race that came with the headset.. all i got was the bottom and top headset, and then the top cup. there was no race.

well it didnt come with the headset, i didnt know that integrated needed it since it wasnt there. how to i get a hold of one if i didnt get one? this is a pain in the ass lmao.

go back to where you bought it from and ask if they can give it to you, until then try using a razor one or any you have lying around.

i won the deck i didnt buy it. but would a razor pro fork race work good? or will it ruin the headset?

It will probably ruin it. Headsets are so perfectly machined and lined up that if you get somthing that isint made for it it could put uneven pressure on or break the seals or not spin good etc.

all integrated headsets are made to the same sizing specs so you just need to go to a bike shop and ask for a fork race for a campy spec headset

yeah i went to a bike shop and asked them to order the FSA orbitz crown race so hopefully that works.
