i am aware on how scs is used and i hvae been using SCS for like 1.5 years.

but i was bored and started watching the origanl proto/SR scs video with andrew discussing on how there would be a notch to align all bars and forks, what happend to this function and why was it not in the produced models?

heres the link. skip to 2:37

this isnt a big deal, i was just wondering why they didnt follow through with this idea

Probably because some kids like to ride with their forks backwards because they're "trendy"

not really related but a good idea to secure bars better is have a small grub screw that taps into the bars thru the scs which will stop the chances of the bars falling out because of something loose eg: a bolt snapping or stripping

i know i never said there was, but there are the people that are really good/into footjams that kinda need them backwards, and you cant deny they make nose manuals/hang 5s alout easier unless its an smx.

2hip bmx made a stem a while back that did the same thing, but it was never produced either.
