SCS problems.

I recently obtained Rad Vultures and when i put my scooter together and tighten everything my fork still moves due to me having to stretch my clamp to fit my bars in. Is there anyway around this or what should i do to make it so i dont have to stretch my clamp to fit my bars in?

what scs is it? and are the bars oversized? if your scs only takes standard and you stretched it for oversized bars, the bottom would be stretched a bit too which would cause the fork rock?

sounds stupid but try rawing the bottom of your bars (where the clamp covers), sometimes paint is really thick. when i rawed my bars i didnt have to stretch my clamp, it actually fits in pretty loose

sand the paint off the bottom of your bars where it goes into the clamp, or put a soda can shim on your forks

speaking of scs problems i have a tilt fork with tilt scs using the special tilt cap of course and it wont stay tight. it stays tight for a pretty long time but it comes kinda loose after maybe a day of riding

For everyone in here it might be that your fork is too long, and that u still have space between the Scs and the headset. If this is the problem either get headset spacers or cut down ur forks. If the problem isnt that try loctite or the bolt and/or starnut is tripped
