SCS/Spacer questions

So I've been running the same Proto SCS for over 3 years now, and it just doesn't stay tight anymore. The bars come loose after an hour of riding at best, even when it's tightened fully (recently broke an allen wrench trying to tighten this bitch). Basically I'm in the market for a new SCS. I'm looking to switch from the 4" tall Proto to a 3" (probably Tilt Arc), but I don't know if I'll need a spacer or not with my setup. I'm running a Tilt Legacy fork and an Ethic Pandemonium deck, and if I get a tall stack Tilt headset will I still need a spacer or not? Appreciate any feedback

If you get the tall stack, I don't think there will be any need to use a spacer.

Although it is pretty nice to have a few spacers in the garage just in case. Just so you don't have to worry if the day ever comes that you do need one.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'll probably pick up a few spacers while I'm at it, I just hate the look of spacers so I try to avoid them if possible.
