Seasoned Bars Slip!!!

Hi i just got my new seasoned broot bars from skaterhq and i put them on my scooter which is a maddgear pro, after a day riding they started to slip and wobble. Has anyone else had this problem? If so tell me a solution.

I cant my clamp is very tight as it is, but i just relised when its tight the slits are touching each other, would cutting them wider fix it?

I cant my clamps very tight i couldnt fit a shim under it, would cutting slits fix it? Cause the width of the slits now are like 1mm and it looks like they just cut them once without widening them?

Stop double posting. Try a different clamp if it doesn't work.

dude use a shim!!!!! DONT PUT IT UNDER THE CLAMP!!! put it on your fork to put your BARS over.

Thanks and seasoned just told me to put electrical tape around the forks, so i will give it a go thanks.

.... dont do that unless u wanna eat dookie. it will make ur bars slip off easier. put 3 layers of 1/2 inch wide, 2 1/2 in long strips of soda cans under ur clamp. tighten that thing and ur bars wont slip. i do that, my friends do that as well, it works real nice.

I've tried to put on tape and soft drink can but wouldnt fit so im goin to cut the slit on the clamps bolt side a bit wider so it will clamp properly.

okay, put a shim under your clamp
if it is to tight stretch it buy takeing the bolts out and putting it in from the threaded side put an 10 cent coin between the bolt and the clamp this will strecth it the put the shim in and take the bolt out and the coin and tighten it as ussual

Nahh my mate had the same problem he cut them and his bars are fine now. Ill tell u how it goes.

i drilled out the clamp holes and put 2 bolts in and my bars have not moved since, i love it

^ Dont do that, it will weaken your fork.
