The horizontal bar on the new Savages are made out of much thicker 4130 chrome moly tube, in fact all seasoneds bars now have this thicker tube for the handlebar.

The gussetts on the Savages could have been stretched out to the end of the handlebar if they wanted, but it was decided to only have the gussets as big as they are so that there is as much handlebar as possible to grab.

I was talking to the guy from seasoneds the other day and he said it was ashame people are happy enough to get in here and bag out his bars, but they never get in touch with him to tell him they've had trouble with them. He's replaced complete bars for free to some people whose bars have bent, but he said he can't help anyone or fix anything if no one tells him anything.

He also told me he's working on a new clamping setup that will let him build light bars that should stay super rigid around the clamp.

they look good, design wise.

but the gussets are tacked, i dont really know the material used, and im not a big fan of mig welding bars.
