Seatpost Bars & SCS

Hey guys,
I have an SCS and one pieces but I was wondering if I could make seatpost bars compatible with an SCS. The reason i want to do this is so i can find the right height and width for the next bars I buy. How could i make a stock sheath fit in an SCS?

Post your ideas.
Thanks in advance,

I think that if u cut off the slit it will be the same OD and ID as normal one pieces, I would check for you with my half knuck and my old razor steerer tube, but I have ICS and it would be a pain in the ass

just put a piece of forktube (2" long) in the bars. So the slits wont bend when you tighten your SCS. That way you wont have to make any shims to make it fit.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah i know what you mean but the diameter at the bottom is bigger than that at the top, and on the bottom there isnt 2 inches of the same diameter cuz it shrinks.

put a piece of 1/2" of some old bars underneeth the bars you're gonna use. That way it has anough clamping surface, and its smooth with the part where your bars are tapered.
