http://www.danscomp.com/473051.php?cat=PARTS i used this when i rode seatpost bars. didnt have any problems.
http://www.danscomp.com/472070.php?cat=PARTS get this if you have a bit of extra money and you want something a little lighter.

they will work fine on an old a and you should be able to run any size you want. although id make sure you have a good 4 inches inside the steer tube just so you wont bend the steer tube.

you should be able to get away with it all the way down without cutting it. although if your fork is reinforced it might hit the reinforcement. im pretty sure youll be all set. if it does hit anything or you have any problems, just cut an inch or two off and youll be set.

i reccomend if you order of danscomp buy some bar ends so you dont have shitty stock ones. i know alot of people like http://www.danscomp.com/365081.php?cat=PARTS and they are only 3 bucks.

cut the tube an old ttube, put it in the seat post. center it, tighten it up, put your grips and barends on. you will need to cut a little part on the inside of the clamp for the bars if you plan on useing a clamp. if you plan on bolting, then bolt it and youll be fine.

just so you know, ttubes are 1 inch od, and standard bars and 7/8 od, so if you want the normal size, go to the store here and order a buff bar replacement handbar to your desired width. stock bars are 13 inches wide, but i reccomend you get like 18 inches wide and cut them down untill you find a good width. i like 15 inches wide.
