UPDATE: I wasn't aware of this, but the forktube has a weld just above the sticker. However, the fork came like that directly from SR. Not sure if it's supposed to be there or if it was rewelded for some reason?

all sr forks were made like that unless somebody broke them and re-welded them lower.
