I know a lot about hd pvrs cuz my dads the operations producer and technical manager for the nfl nba espn olympics x games and other sporting events, he uses those to record any errors during broadcast, this is the hauppage and it works for mac as well which is great, only thing is, its not worth 180 used its 200 new and ive seen lots on craigslist that sell for 150 or lower and its meet up so just saying. But this is in prestine condition its mucho mucho good
