n00b question but can a proto half knuckle shim fit a district clamp?

Most clamps have the same radius,(1 1/4 or 1 3/8) so it should. It depends on the wall thickness of the shim, to the district clamp.

It's not called "radius" it's called they have different id's and od's and thicker clamps have bigger wall thickness and the Id on standard clamps is 1-1/4 and the id on oversized clamps is 1-3/8... I'm not super sure on the od of the two because different companies manufacture their clamps with different wall thicknesses like I said before..But to answer your question .. The shim should work

Also jw but why the hell does proto manufacture an HIC clamp if they refuse to make the bars accordingly?
