i don't remember his name, but i know he was 21 old Latvian. All the latvians sitting in front of me were standing up and cheering like mad crazy.

I'm pretty psyched that my local buddy got into the top 10, sharing #8-10 places with Morgan Wade and Bruno Hoffman. Since judges have always been foreign experts, there's no chance we could bump up our own local guys into the finals so i'm pretty excited that Andres made into the top 10. First day was overally sooooooo gnarly. I can't wait for the second day (finals & best trick).

I hope the broadcast (by MPORA) is decent for you foreign guys.

At that point i was actually wondering, if somebody could pull off a nosemanual TO frontflip, like i mean just block the frontwheel with your toes as a footjam and huck forward off that dumpster. That would be so unreal.

but yeah when he fell and didnt get up i thought he had broke a bone or somthing.
the quarter after the stepup looked way to steep all the riders were iether landing to flat or back wheel first on it

i quite liked ben hennons bike run on the dumpster. lol

No you silly. You can't expect random kids from the street (as most of the audience is a pile of random groovy kids) who don't know anything about trick names to know what's a flair. For your information, in his defense, he said tons of "flairs" and "180 backflip, as known as a flair", just like he explained truckdrivers aswell. And as i recall since i was there all time, the comment "only a very few riders in the world can do that trick" went at the dude who did that 360 handplant over the spine. Catfish is old-school, but still a super chill guy in person.

I literally got up for 4 am here, because that's when the timer started. It was set for 4 but didn't play until 5, and then it was skateboard semis. BMX finals were so mint, I think I liked this jam format. I wish best trick was after the finals, so that everybody would have tried to rape, not just the people who didn't qualify.

This year wasn't as great as last years, but there were lots of hammers thrown down. Hands down, it was still a bad-asss session. Catfish mentioned that there were over 150,000 viewers on the internet watching the Simpel Session. Not a small number, i must say.

Plus, i can ride there from 10:00 to 15:00 tomorrow (on Monday),

yea, that was killing me and nate haha. i managed to catch most of the best trick this morning, there was some good stuff there. place looks like fun too.
