Okay, so I wanted to check something on youtube and I found a message in my box which was:

We are currently looking for skateboarding footage to fill our 3rd season.
sk82death (skate to death) has just finished its second season and has been the highest rating show on channel 31 Melbourne since our first episode. The show is also doing very well on; Channel 31 Perth, TVS Sydney, Access 31 Perth and Bush Vision in South Australia, Recently winning the 2006 Antennae for best Camerawork, an estimated 1 million people watched season 2.
As I mentioned we are looking for footage to use in season 3. This presents a great opportunity for companies of ANY size to promote themselves and their product via their team riders.
We will consider any footage we receive, with one restriction, due to public access television laws we cannot digitally display a sponsors logo on the screen. Logos captured on film however; on tshirts, boards etc are acceptable. There is no problem displaying individual skaters names on the screen, and skaters/company names will be introduced by the hosts of the show.
Sk82death will happily edit raw footage or play finished pieces, even individual shots will be considered. If your video has a soundtrack please make sure you have permission to broadcast it and let us know, otherwise sk82death will supply music.
Sk82death often features montages of random mixed skating and amusing incidents,
weÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¾Ã?â??Ã?¢ll consider using anything dangerous, funny, mildly erotic or disgusting.
The show also includes a segment entitled Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¦Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??Sk8er ProfileÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã? which presents a profile of a single skater by showing 3 to 10 minutes of his skating followed by an interview. Both Professional and Amateurs are profiled, as we believe in supporting the underground skate scene, For companies this is an ideal means of advertising their team skaters. The interview is an integral part of this segment and so to have a member of your team Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¦Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??profiledÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã? this would need to be supplied or somehow arranged.

I personally don't know what to think about it. My (technically my brother's) account contains a few Dave Mirra Freestyle Bmx clips, some of my old vids, terry's 16 set clip, nixon's dirt video (the only way I could play it was youtubing it) and finally the scooter bail video, which look like the most likely to make them interested. But then this message doesn't look like personalised at all, so it might be sent to everyone or just to some youtube users with skate-related videos? Did anyone else also recieve such a message? Anyway if they're serious maybe someone could hook them up with some good quality scooter footage and have it aired on tv?
