Yay ska is cool, go to www.theedge1039.com and listen online to the ska/punk show 9-10 weeknights, it has awesome ska/punk stuff lol.

Yeah that sounded like a big advertisement it is good though. There was an Aquabats concert last Thursday but I couldn't make it :( .

Don't forget about Mustard Plug and another band I can't remember the name of. I'm so mad at myself.

yeh i know a lot of ska bands but those were just a few i named lol. ill check it out.

thees this ska/punk/rock show over here from 9-11 on tuesdays lol. THEY PLAYED THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES WOOOOO

yo i used to be a legend at ska shows at long island....they called me little asian kid....and im not so little anymore...
i used to dance like a little idiot in the 3 pit, raising my pinky, ring, and middle finger to indicate its a 3 pit....

i still love ska though.
i like going to hardcore / metal kind of shows more now. PUNCH THE GROUND HOOO HOO BRING THE RUCKUS

catch 22 they have like the same songs like the same beats and stuff for every song just like the ramones or something like that

no they don't.
catch22 is friggin awesome.

they have a lot of different drum beats, their drummer is awesome, but some of their horns and singing can get alittle repetitive.

This thread deserves to be bumped because of the greatness that is ska.

Have any of you guys heard of Kongo Shock? I just heard them on the Ska/punk show a couple days ago, they're this awesome ska band from Arizona. I'm deffinetely gonna buy a cd of theirs sometime in the near future.

there is a local ska band from Corvallis (Al Lamptons town, they go to OSU as well haha) called Sweater Club. they are really good. they have a myspace but i'm too lazy to post the link.
