Skate shoes

First off, please forgive me if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find a place to put this thread so if it's in the wrong place sorry xD.

So recently I destroyed my pair of Etnies sheckler 6's (summer holidays) and was wondering what shoes I should get. I am like size 6 Mens US and need a shoe that has a strong outer sole, good support and has low or medium tops.

If anyone has any suggestions on a skate shoe that would last a bit longer than my old ones please help me .

look for shoes that dont use suede or canvas, because these materials tend to rip easily. also i know that the rubber for vans and fallens is softer then normal, making them not last as long. nikes have good rubber, but i always seem to rip mine fast.

depends on the model. ive had my suede janoski's for less than a month and they are already ripped in 2 places. i dont even ride in them.

Just get the cheapest pair you can find. They all get trashed pretty quick so don't spend all of your cash buying something really expensive.

I've had 2 pairs of Nike 6.0 Marvrk's, both low and mids. They're some of the nicest shoes I've ever worn. I'm pretty sure you can find them on CCS for like 50 dollars or so.

like 1.65 I have small feet xD, I don't think I will get vans though as I have tried them and completely destroyed them. Thanks everyone for your comments i'll check all those shoes out, I'm not sure what skate shoes are available in NZ but I think we have most of the good brands.
