slit to no slit

hey guys right now i run a threaded setup and I bought my bars 21 high with a slit, now I want to cut this slit off and go scs will they still feel the same height? cause slit drops ur bars 2 inches and im cutting 2 inches but scs adds an inch so would the be/feel 2 inches lower?

Yes, cutting the slit off will take away two inches, but the scs adds it back to it.
