Smaller deck for a smaller kid?

My kid is only 9 and needs a new set-up. Should I get him one of the smaller decks like a TSI Freestyler 19" X 4.25" or Phoenix Reventon 19.5" X 4.25" or does the size not make that big of a difference. He hasn't tried enough other scooters to know what might work best. He trashed his Razor Pro in about 6 months jumpin 7 steps and learning to grind.

I'd recommend the TSI. Although a good condition District V2 deck would probably be nice.

Razor ultra pro don't spend to much money, If he wrecks that then get him a 19x4 Tsi

honestly, get the district, the tsi's are a bit heavy i think for a 9 year old
& the ultra pro is garbage.

it's cheap although very good, it may be uncomfortable for bigger riders because it's rather short and the low head tube angle but for 9 year old kid it'll be great as he most likely doesn't have big feet and height, so the bars won't go into knees, and there will be enough footroom,+ superlight

Get the ultra pro i have one and its actuly very good. I like it a lot except that my feet are to big for the deck and the bars are to low but he shouldn't have those problems.
