when can you ever vote for a politician who you're not at least somewhat disillusioned with?

by nature, politicians are power hungry people, so it's going to be very difficult to find a candidate to be completely comfortable with.

for me, that's not even an issue. i still find it difficult to fathom how any person who isn't already extremely wealthy can vote for mccain.
