Snow Days

anyone having them lately?in woodinville it never really snows.. but we have like 6 inches to a foot around now..not much at all but enough to miss school.so far i have had yesterday off,today off,tomorrow off, then tomorrow night we have another storm so thats prolly knocking off this whole week..then saturday, skatebarn sesh with cary,kc,david fross,stan.and tons of others..this week is sick.

so.pointless thread but just basically talk about ...snowdays?

doesnt really snow in socal, so no. But every now and then when theres a big fire nearby we get school off cause of the smoke

alex schad had that huge snowstorm in october and put him out of school for like a week and a half or something... now he has no "mid-winter recess".... n00bs

ya this week was sikke but in everett we only have 4 inches i didnt think woody and bothell were even gonna get any snow but u guys got more that us plus its like 20 degrees

last year my school was lcosed for 3 days because so many kids were sick and i was lucky and i didn't get sick at all

it was wierd there was like 2 kids in my class and i was the only kid in one of them. {-)

lol in 3rd grade something like that happened, everyone got the flu and about a quarter of the kids were left at school, including me. It hasn't really snowed yet here in Iowa but we usually get it pretty nice in Dec and Jan and Feb, causing snow days. Last year we had quite a few and we had to make it up during spring break, that pissed me off.

some good stories, maybe someone should post something like this in the rides section so people can go to an indoor skatepark together.

no are schools dont do snowdays anymore because our town is super used to snow so we have 2 hour delays... but if we get more than 3 feet its a snow day... anything under isnt

dude we had to many snow days in 8th grade so they made us go to school extras so our summer break started like a week late
