yea we've had like 7.8's n stuff but what i heard on teh raydeeoh is that the ground underneath the east coast area is much more compact so when an earthquake hits, its like hit a bell with a hammer; you feel more longer than cali would with the same magnitude earthquake

Does anyone actually go under a doorway when a earthquake happens? I mean shit..If i was home alone just doing my own thing...I would be scared shittless, and I always freeze up. But thats me.

My twelve year old cousin was home alone at my grandma's house. My grandma's mirror shook so he went to save it and then his PS3 fell off the TV so he said "fuck this im out" and ran to the closest doorway and stayed there.

Honestly I froze up and had no idea what to do hahaha.

I got caught in it at school here in North Carolina. At first I thought someone was just jumping on the floor, then I looked over and saw the light fixtures swinging and ----- so I freaked out and ran downstairs and got outside. They started evacuating all the buildings and made us stand outside in case there was any structural damage. I didn't even think "EARTHQUAKE". Ideas, in this order:

  1. Kid jumping
  2. Construction? Nah.
  3. BOMB (I lived in New York, this is a real concern of mine still)
  4. Building's falling down. Get the fuck outside.
  5. Earthquake? ----- really?
  6. My birthday is so awesome I caused a fucking earthquake.
  7. Fuck yeah earthquake
  8. This is the most awesome birthday ever.
