If he thinks he will keep them, hot glue them REALLY good, take time and care when doing it so it comes out as strong as possible.
If he thinks he would like to make some cash, 2 brand new old (oxymoron right there) 110 yaks will probably sell for 2 or 3 times what he paid for each wheel. Think about it.
