Soaking bearings in rubbing alchahol

I'm thinking of soaking my stock bearings in rubbing alchahol, but I just have one question about it. Wouldnt it take away all the grease from the bearings, so the bearings would wear out faster?

after you soak them you are supposed to lube them up with something. the soaking is supposed to take all the grease of and crud. and then you lube them up and they are fresh.

yea definitly make sure when you wash them with alcohol to make sure you get all the dirt out and dry the bearing really well. then lube them with something not wd-40 or crc. try motor oil or 3 in 1

i do this all the time take the bearing fully apart let it sit in the rubbing alchahol for about 15-20 mins. then take the bearing out dry every peice put back together and use sumthing like bones speed cream or just bearing grease to lube the bearings.what i do is before i put the cap on the balls i put the speed cream on the bals and spin them around then close it up

I got myself banned.
How do you take apart the bearing? Don't you have to have like unsealed bearings to do that?

But yeah i just soak them in alcohol or paint thinner for like 15 minutes than dry them and let them chill for 10 minutes than pour 3 in 1 all over them and spin them so it gets all inside and ride them

take off the cover(s), pop out the retainer, slide all the balls to one side and they all come out.

wouldnt recommend it though cause theyre a bitch to put back together
