you don't have to look cool while riding a scooter. It's all about fun right?

Plus helmets are good for two reasons, they protect your head, and they keep your hair out of your eyes if you have long hair - and they're better for that then most hats, because hats fall off, unless it's a toque, and those can get really itchy if you get all sweaty and stuff.
