You probably got the bad home depot grip. I've transferred my one sheet of blood style griptape over 3 scoots and it still works fine, and adheres well.

It's a bit pricey.

just saying , this grip is meant for snowskating
which means it is waterproof and it is not grainy like a sandpaper so it does hold up longer then regular grip i think its a great idea with the snow skate grip i highly suggest you trying it!

lol i have it on my ambition and i love it but they sent me an extra package by accident so i might put one on my backup scoot

This has already been done.
Myself- i would just rather use griptape and i think deckpins would just make the deck weaker.
I guess BMX style riders would like them though. Although they have already been made. Pretty sure TSI did some of this stuff some time ago.

Dude, it wouldn't make the deck weaker at all lol....

..Pins epoxy'ed to a deck is a different story.

I,myself, would never prefer pins though. I guess i just watch too many skate videos. heh

you do realize that each hole is no more than 3mm? and that would literally make no difference in strength for a TSI (because its the deckplate), an RUP/pro model (it's on the outer lip of the deck), and district and phoenix it would still make no difference.
