TSI deck, Scorcher Forks- belongs to a kid at the Local.

Expoxy Paint Remover
Wire Brush/Wheel on a Bench Grinder
Sand with 400grit

Then a trip to the Buffing wheel.

For the Forks I just sanded off the Black and then buffed it as well.

Steel or Alooominum?

Steel, you can polish but they'll rust up pretty quickly so not really worth it.
(example is a Knife blade- they hold their sheen since they normally go in a sheath but left outside they rust just like anything else steel)

AL- no problem but just like polished AL car wheels you'll need to just clean them every once in a while.
