Aluminum doesn't rust- neglected, it will Oxidize and get a nasty coating on it but that only happens when AL is left out in the elements and not taken care of.

Anodizing AL adds a layer of protection- lots of AL parts are anodized silver- doesn't have to be a color- but you don't get that High Polish look to the part.

Boat rails, Towers etc- stuff that will be outside as an example.
( I know Rails and Towers are also made from Stainless)

For the Forks I just sanded off the Black and then buffed it as well.

I want to do this to my nitro.. Would I just remove the grip tape and headset, then put paint stripper all over it.? Then use a wire brush to remove it all right?then do I sand it, and maybe clear coat so it doesn't look like shit in two weeks ? And how would I get inside of the holes in the headtube
