Please stop sucking up, the footage may look great but the guy filming it doesnt have a clue. Just read some of his posts above me and try to tell me otherwise.

Besides, I would rather see some kick ass over exposed footage from a VX or DVX anytime haha :D

hahahaha. no one knows how to set the settings on my hv30. canon told me its some kind of weird firmware that got replaced super fast, but it gives me more manual setting after i figured it out.

I won't ever be jealous until you buy a Canon 7D. The 7D is AMAZINGGGGGGGGG! Quality looks almost film-like and shoots in HD resolution as well.

I own a Sony HDRFX1 as is, with a Century .3x death lens. You be jealous.... haha.

And CMOS makes me chuke. The lux is so low on CMOS chips compared to 3CCD. Gets really grainy in lower lighting situations.

LOL. Yeah you just happened to get some random camera that has settings no one else has. Pics or your bullshit.

They are sick and all but I think it would be a bitch to use one of them to film scooters. They don't have the same body feel to them.

Yeah, I hear you both. But it's just like moving from a digi8 to a three chip. You have to get used to it. In my opinion I would never waste a frame with a fisheye on a 7D. Simply because the depth is so amazing. Only way to truly get footage with that kind of depth on a VX is to rig up a 35mm adapter, which is a pain in the ass to setup/use. Long lens footage on that camera looks so crisp though. And you can use aftermarket handles on them if you ever did slap a wide angle on it. But sure, you'd have to get used to how to angle it since it's a digital camera, not a camcorder.
