Lol lucky isn't just a dad with money man, he has a normal job and does everything with lucky, plus he actually supports and listens to the riders, stands behind his parts, and comes up with original ideas. I could see it looking like another "Rich Dad" situation from an outside perspective, but I really think lucky is a great company that is really helping the sport.

For sure, man. I agree. Regardless of my opinion that their decks look kinda ugly, haha. I had a long conversation with all the guys at Lucky, including the owner. And they're super chill. The whole company/team seems to have good heads on their shoulders. I fully support what Lucky is doing for the sport.

what is it with all the kids with RICH dads trying to make money in our little sport lol ive even got my dad whos not rich trying to make stuff just to make some money and he keeps pissing me and all he says is just make the same thing as someone else and sell it...it really pisses me off. thats all they think about is money and not caring about the people in the sport. i vote that everyone who rides DO NOT buy anything from a company untill we know who the owner is and the have to be a legit rider looking to improve the sport. if its a rich dad DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them!!!!

ya my friend met his kid the kid had 4 sandrails aka dunebuggys brand new and all badass so there u can tell he is a rich person

ahhah this shittttt

i dont hate lucky at all, they are dope as fuck. but all you talkin shit on proride copying logos do any of you guys realize that lucky copied the skateboard company right down to the core, just put scooters on it. wit the clover too hahahah

alright you guys listen. when you read what i'm going to say i want y'all to understand that i'm not jumping all to one side just because. and i wouldn't be defending pro ride if it really was a horrible company. i'm not trying to be a jerk or anything like that so please don't take anything i say as if i'm trying to get at you for something that was said.

i understand that most people are talking about how pro ride stole bar ideas and what not but the only bars that they have right now are plain t style bars. i know that you guys don't think that they're in it for the sport, but they really are. they want to try to get this sport to a higher level faster than it is going right now and i don't understand why everyone is having a fit about it because they are trying to do so. i mean yeah they have alot of money but look at whos funding it. and when they showed up at sd4, they showed up and advertised as if any one of you riders would have loved to. they showed up with nice parts and a large inventory. i mean, if you started your own team, wouldn't you like to have money to support it? yeah their parts look alot like other companies' parts, but y'all need to stop having a fit about it. i know people have used this excuse before, but if you were to compare two different bike forks, how much different do they look? i mean come on you guys, you need to relax.

the owner of the company, randy, has owned many different companies. he had his own trophy truck racing team and motocross team that obtained plenty of recognition in the sports that they participated in when they were around. what i'm trying to say is that randy knows what he's doing and not to mention that he's working with john (founder of active) and y'all know he knows quite a bit about the extreme sport world. not to mention a sibling of johns is the one who managed the first ever x games, so if we want to get scooter riding to that level, we need to work with him.

i understand if you guys don't agree with me which i believe most of you won't..but pro ride is going to help this sport out alot. i know most of you don't like them now..but EVERY SINGLE TEAM STARTED OUT LIKE THIS. whether we like it or not, people are going to hate some of the companies that most other riders adore. i mean, look at proto. there are numerous amounts of people that absolutely hate proto scooters..but then again, there are many people that love them. scooterzone, plenty of people hated scooterzone when they first came out because of their parts and look at them now. i'm not saying that this is true or anything but there is the possibility of some people talking badly about pro ride because they could be intimidated because of what they have done so far. and those of you who are saying that their name is stupid and not "creative enough"..how many of you guys wear PRO TEC helmets or wear pro tec pads? the bottom line is y'all need to stop worrying about pro ride and stick with what you believe in and you don't need to bring people down because of it. i mean if you have something cool to say about the team, that's nice..throw it out there. but if you're just wanting to make them look bad, think about if you were the topic of this thread.

if he wants to help, tell him to research what he is making then because what i and many others saw there was a disgrace, i.e the forks, they were thin walled, threaded alloy forks that didnt even fit anyway and dropouts on the deck that are only just thicker than stock pro model ones(a little infamous for breaking there) with even bigger holes for the brake which will make it worse.

Iknow like even if this company is in it for the money this is juss part of it growing after we get more recognized we will have diferent comPaines trying to get money watch eastern scooters fit scoot co bike companies will prolly end up getting in this sport wich would actualy be cool but at same time everyone will hatebut.... Pro rides deck design needs so work that's juss my opinion

like raymond said you guys need to relax you have never even ridden the deck or the fork or anything from pro ride for that matter. everyone says that the deck is weak well i cracked an mgp, i used to go through 2 promodels monthly, jeremy beau broke a tsi in two weeks and my little brother snapped an ultra pro in 3 weeks. this deck hasnt had one problem in the time that any of us have been riding it. and for the forks the wall is no were near a stock pro model fork, although im not sure what the wall thickness is exactly. If you guys dont like the parts then instead of ranting about them give your opinion on how to better them. as far as the sport goes everyone talks saying "the sport needs to progress". this is progression, pro ride isn't just a website that sells scooter products, they are shop that sells shoes, hats, shirts, pants, helmets, pads and scooter products. its pretty much and active skateshop but instead of skateboards they sell scooters. They hope to do great things for scootering just as active did for skateboarding. Big things are coming from pro ride just be patient.

i apologize for making my reply a full on essay. lol

I hear where you're coming from, Raymond. But they could have chosen their own design or dimensions. I realize there aren't too many adjustments to be made overall. But I mean the SD4 DVD interview with Pro Ride, Josh had asked what the dimensions of the deck were and he straight up said "Same as a Lucky deck." AFTER adamantly denying that it was a duplication. Even though it was incredibly obvious.

Do we want a liar advertising to the X-Games commission about our sport?!?! Absolutely not. But hey, I respect your opinion, Raymond. And I can respect you wanting to stay neutral in the situation since you're a super friendly person. But people will have their opinions, whether they are right or wrong. I won't apologize for what I've said because it is all facts. And I do not agree with what they are doing. I could give a rats ass if he has his foot in the door to a board member for the X-Games. It doesn't justify blatently ripping a design off, then lying about it being their own design.

Besides, don't you want to back Lucky? I mean they ripped off your sponsors design then tried to say that they had been testing it before Lucky announced they were making decks. When in reality, someone had bought a Lucky deck and he duplicated it. Two or three months later, the company is released with decks. And like I said, trying to claim they had been testing them for a year. What Pro Ride did/is doing, is like a backhanded slap to your sponsors face.

just to let you know, that was the FIRST model tsi. they are now double reinforced and i don't think anyone has broke one yet so don't even say those decks are weak. they lokk like they are gonna last a hell of a lot longer than pro ride decks.

I hope the owner makes an account and then posts a thread about his company. It will be funny to see all the crap he gets :p
