speed cream works really well in a headset, I use it and it speeds your headset right but do you have a sealed or not sealed headset (it dosent make much difference i might be able to give more specific tips though). remember to try and rid the headset or old dirt/grease too and I hope I helped

Use car brake cleaner to clean your headset bearings and wipe them with a cloth, then sit them on another clean cloth, and tip grease on them. Not too much though. Then of course put your scooter back together. Clean your cups and the inside of your headtube with brake cleaner aswell. ;D

Like Anthony said. Use grease. Speed cream is an oil-based lube, and most headset bearings are grease bearings. Usually the first time I compress a headset, it squeezes the grease out and makes the headset creak, and then I take it apart and regrease every part of the headset and it's buttery smooth.
