Does anyone know the dimensions of external square tube deck reinforcements. Also the pros/cons of them.

I don't know the dimensions, but here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
- Makes your scooter heavier
- Makes grinds (especially 50-50s) easier
- Seems to actually reinforce your deck, though I suspect that force taken by the dropouts is now redistributed to the folding mech

Cons
- Makes certain tricks harder (whips especially)
- Makes your scooter heavier
- Time consuming to make, generally expensive to buy

weight freaks

there fine i would use internal reinforcements though because like alexander said the do get beat up

they will bolt properly if the holes line up

u can go to home depot or lowes and ask for some square tubing just bring your deck with u to see if its the right size

for pro models its 3/4 in alum. The rest you kinda have to figure out on your own :[

but i love mine and cant stand riding without em cus it makes the deck feel to weak to me, kinda like going from an unreinforced pro to an a model.

How much weigh box reinforcements ?
Are there many differences between stainless steel tube and aluminium tube (weight and toughness) ?

but steel box is not critically heavy?

will not it cause me many troubles learning and doing tricks?

I can't find aluminium box in my town, that's why I'm looking to buy steel box.....now my scooter reinforced with aluminium pipe :)
