dude schue...the threaded one SUCKS>...i got it and reinforced it and it broke in 2 days...they bottem just looks strong...but the acuall tube is a reguler pro fork...its nto gunna last you any longer then a normal pro fork....buy the threadles one $72 when the store opens..

actually the tube is shinier than a pro fork! And not that weak... maybe you just got unlucky.
