just a few questions about the threadless forks, i made it a thread in case anyone else has questions about them too that i didnt ask and so questions about the mwouldnt be in other threads.

1. what alloy are they made of?
2. how much do they weigh?
3. do you need spacers and a longer axle like the micro ones?

How are pegs mounted on SR forks? It doesn't have a solid fork side next to the axle and it looks like it needs some kind of a spacer or something.

They would be much stronger due to the thereadless system....it allows pressure to be applied onto a solid piece od steel instead of a thin piece of thread

I think they are stronger. Why will a guy who ride scooters and know scooters use a weaker fork?I don't know. Why do you need to know the alloy its made of?I don't know that though.

Weight , matters? Scooters are so light comparing with bikes and on bikes people and bunny hop so high. Scooters must be easier!I don't know the weight too.

scooters may be lighter than bikes even though people who ride bikes can jump high but scooters have waaaay less leverage to get the height so to me weight does matter, it might not make much a difference how easy the whip is but it does make a difference how quick it goes so you can fit that late bar. and i wanna know the alloy to know whether its gonna be brittle and snap or soft and bend.

Eric, even if the fork's heavy, it won't really affect barspins much, unless it has a huge offset or something. As it's all inline with the bars it shouldn't affect much.

But yeah, I want to see what these forks look like and how they work.

I'd think that they weigh more, being as they're stronger they're probably heavier as well.

And Andrew, are they the same ones as on your scooter with the Goped style bars?

Goped style bars? Yeah I agree that they might be heavier as they might be stronger but I don't think its going to be much heavier. Eric , wait for it to be selling in the store and then email Andrew asking him.

i doubt it but you might want to so its not all shaky, or you could just make your own

andrew will you reply to the questions please? i know you have to have seen this thread by now.

Andrew probably don't know the weight yet and is still testing out different material for the best performance. Just wait for it to come out and ask him.

i read that you need a threadless headset.

where do you get these or how do they even work? I don't really understand them at all. This could affect me from buying these forks if i dont know if they will work with my headset or not! lol. Any help appreciated.
