up today seriously i know some one wants this fork it just has rust on it nothing else is wrong with it ! haha

I want it but with shipping and everything it seems kinda expensive and it doesn't have a compression system or anything. Maybe if you lower the price a little i might buy it.

ok ill take it down to 40 including shipping and all cuz here look at it this way.. your only paying 20 for the fork itself which is about what its worth considering i payed like 45 then shipping on the fork brand new with comp sys.. and its only been used once and it has a lil rust which can be takin off easily. and with out comp sys.. and i went to ups to get an estimate on the shipping and here in VA its gonna cost about 20 for the shipping itself, insurance, tracking, and the packaging which isnt that bad for all that. its really not that expensive when you consider all that

20$ for shipping?
i went to ups and got a 12$ estimate
i would buy it but idk, 40 bucks seems like alot to me

yea your right but thats not all i have to pay for... i still gotta pay for the tracking, insurance, and also pays for paypal fees. Once you do the math its actually not that much. unlike some people i like to have my shit garanteed and i dont like to scam people. so i want it to be able to track for me and the person recieving it so they know they arnt getting scammed..

Not to get involved in your thread but $20 + $12 shipping is a pretty fair price for a V1 because it can always be reinforce or repaired to a V2. Also, tracking and insurance are not options with UPS , it is automatic with every package they ship, just copy the tracking number off the label when they put it on and if it gets lost you just call them tell them the tracking number and they will see it never arrived and they will reimburse.

Also, for those complaining about the rust... the original prototype for these forks is almost 3 years old now and has never been painted, never broken and is probably stronger than anything I am making today. As long as it is surface rust and it hasn't eaten into the metal it is fine.

yes thank you andrew and your also very right its only about 10-12 for the shipping but here in VA they actually do charge for the tracking and packing and such.. yea its not up to me about that.. so i dont know.

compression system helps hold the threadless headset, fork, and bars together in addition to the bar clamp (mainly compresses the headset), and is adjustable to allow no play but still have perfect turning speed. Not required, but you can use your FSA's starnut and get the allen bolt from SR when it opens and blam you have a compression system.

lol, you cant buy just the bolt. you just buy the whole system. and if you are using this with buff bars or rad bars the fsa star nut wont work, only the oversised one will work.
