Yeah the first 3 came out in the late 70's I think and they made the first three just lately.

I like the series, the 70s ones rocked and notice how well were they made considering lack of modern filmmaking techniques. The phantom menace was really good, didnt like the attack of the clones tho and particulary liked the last one, they were like rushing that thing just to get the story to the beginning of the first 70s episode...
I have some like fanmade production which is called "Episode XIII: The final trial", and its set in the times of the New Republic (if you know what Im talking about... its like hundreds of years after the original series). Its made by some star wars fans in Poland, it features both real acting and computer modelled scenes plus nice lightsaber fighting scenes.
