Starnut help!

is there any way of getting a starnut out of bars without cutting bars???

So let me got this straight. You need help with your nut????

pull like crazy. Put bars in a vice and then get some pliers and pull it out or you can shove something down there to maybe loosen it or to get it out of the way but only do that as a last resort or you won't get it back.

try pushing it so it twists inside the bars, then stick a long allen key in there and pretty much fish for it. put the little end that sticks the other way in and puulllllllllllllllll. good luck

if you don't need the starnut, and its just in your way, the easiest thing to do is just hammer it in further

stand on the bars and put a bolt through the starnut and pull hard.(your starnuts gonna be wrecked from pulling it out anyway)

take a screwdriver thatll reach the starnut and try bending the flanges up somehow

yea ...either that or just hammer it in further

i cut the bars down. so the bolt will reach the starnut. all good now thanks guys
