Starnut problem

well i bought epic forks and i had scooterzone put the starnut in the forks already. Well im not sure what the hell happened but i run hic and whenever i went to go tighten or loosen the bolt it wouldnt do anything. There was really no way to unscrew the bolt out so i pried it out which i know was a bad idea but that was the only way to take the hic shim off and free the forks. now i cant ride untill i get a new starnut. basically i wanna know if this happened to anyone else and is a 7/8 starnut the same as the 1 1/8 starnut because every time i type in 7/8 starnut thats the only thing that comes up. please help!

Thats what my friend told me since i have the district v2i that what i thought too but when i pried the bolt out the bolt was threaded all the way through the starnut.

yeah, get a bigger starnut, if that doesnt work u could do it the madd gear way and run a bolt from the bottom of the forks? thats a failsafe design, it'll elininate most possible problems.
